Truckers tells the story of how the thousands of tiny nomes who live under the floor boards of a large department store, Arnold Brothers (est 1905), escape to the great 'Outside' when the Store, their whole world, is closed for demolition. They need strong nerve, lots of pieces of string and a large truck. Truckers is the first of a trilogy of books Terry Pratchett wrote about the nomes and Steven Spielberg has snapped up the film rights to all three.
