CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 and there is currently no planned re-opening time though it will not be before 1st June 2020 and is most likely to be September (according to some West End producers).
Some shows have been cancelled, or closed early, but many are being rescheduled and we are trying to keep up with the changes - assume that anything posted for April to August is actually postponed or cancelled. It now looks likely that little will return till 2021.
"A GIFTED COMIC" Sunday Times Award-winning comedian Luke Toulson, returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with a brand new full-length show about falling back in love with the world... and the tricky social niceties of the back seat of the bus. "A natural stand-up. His audience rapport and quick-wittedness are astonishing, putting him into that rare group of comics who find it easy to deviate from their prepared material and riff on whatever the crowd throws at them" allthefestivals.com. After last year's Festival, Luke ran away. He had considered himself a loveable rogue... a loose cannon, a rapacious wit with an eye for the ladies. Turns out he was just another lonely alcoholic. He got as far as Austria, but was back in less than three weeks with a self-appointed mandate for change. Exploring Love, Loss, and Addiction, Luke reveals how daughters are better liars than sons, Playboy models don’t make great wives, and just because you wear a hoodie doesn’t mean you’re destined to lose at ‘I spy’. Sorry About Last Night is the account of a man who tried cynicism, but realised it wasn’t all that. Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Previews
