The Wallflower and Other Stories is an evening of dance, music, comedy and theatre and how we all just want to get onto life's dance floor. Centred around acclaimed performer Cat Foley, with a new one woman single act show 'The Wallflower', each evening will feature a collection of stories told by kick ass women through song, dance and theatre.
The Wallflower - The Wallflower is on the edge of the dance floor. Waiting. In the age of social media, is it getting harder to make real human connection? Why is it so hard to be alone but even harder to reach out? Why will no-one ask me to dance? Will you? A tale of hope, anxiety, loneliness and awkwardness told from the edge of life's dance floor.
Other Stories - What does it mean to be a partnerless person in a partnered dance form? Or to wrestle with being alone? The Wallflower will be joined by associate artists who will tell their stories through song, dance, storytelling and comedy.
