CORONAVIRUS: currently, all theatres and related venues are closed. Shows are either being cancelled, postponed or rescheduled and we are trying to keep up with all the changes. There are currently few changes after May 2020 and many shows that were due for April have been pushed back towards the end of Autumn. Pantomimes are looking like a safe bet at the moment ;-)
As part of the Royal Albert Hall's Christmas Season, Albert's Band will be presenting several special Christmas-themed Royal Albert Hall Songbook performances. The Royal Albert Hall Songbook is a free, interactive concert which explores the vast musical history of one of the world's most iconic venues. The concert is aimed at an elderly audience and is available to visit a variety of locations including care homes, hospitals, day centres and hospices, throughout London and the London Home Counties. During this 45 minute concert, musician's from Albert's Band will perform some of their favourite songs and carols along with a fascinating insight into how the Hall has celebrated Christmas over the years - including a tale about the world's largest Christmas pudding and Prince Albert's link to the tradition of the Christmas Tree!
