Meet Jack - A egotistical go-getter with an eye for the ladies, far from the current state of Toby but can Jack convince the girl of his dreams, the intelligent and beautiful Monica that he is the one for her, especially as he seems to have slept with the majority of the young ladies in the village previously. Meet Sam - a simple man with a simple problem, an addictive personality. After throwing all his money away at the blackjack table can he find the money to pay the men threatening the safety of him and his wife? Meet Toby - alone in the world ...After a terrible accident that saw the death of his parents, Toby was paralysed by grief. Sitting in an old rusty wheelchair, the vibrant youngster that he was had been as he sat in a care home, his eyes in a constant fixed and thoughtless gaze. The people around him cannot hear him or reach him ... but the audience can hear his thoughts. Slowly throughout the show, Toby progresses and develops motor skills, speech and even falls in love - but sometimes the trials and tribulations of the real world can be as challenging. All three characters a part of a little village, connected to an amateur dramatic show. As their paths cross everybody's life who meets them will be changed forever.
