Details

The city of Verona is in the grip of a war between two rival factions: the Capuleti and Montecchi. Romeo, the Montecchi leader, has killed the son of his rival Capellio. As Capellio prepares to launch a counter-attack, he orders his young daughter Giulietta to marry loyal Capuleti Tebaldo. But drawn together by a passionate love, Romeo and Giulietta defy their households and meet their tragic fate.
