Details

Bizet's one-act opera is a romantic fantasy, which tells of the faithful Djamileh who gambles her freedom to win the love of Haroun. This new production received it's premiere at Les Azuriales Opera Festival in August 2000, and is now performed in the round, accompanied by music director and pianist Bryan Evans.
