An intimate walkabout performance through the heart of Hoxton. Hoxton Story takes its audience, in small groups, on a unique journey through a 'regenerated' London community. Fusing new writing, site-specific theatre and oral history, Hoxton Story juxtaposes the perspective of estate residents with those of council workers, activists, artists and developers; to explore their dreams, disappointments and achievements in relation to Hoxton - as home, work and recreation; as public space and as capital waiting to be realised.
