A Father for My Son archiveThis one-woman show tells the moving story of the woman behind the Antarctic hero Captain Robert Falcon Scott - his widow Kathleen. Few people know her - a free spirit, the youngest of 11 children - she slept out of doors and set off vagabonding whenever she could. She ran away to Paris to be an artist, became financially independent and brought up her son Peter alone. She rose from Obscurity to become a notable figure of the day counting Asquith, Shaw, Barrie and Ibsen among her friends.
