A tale of obsession, greed and corruption, the story follows a young boy, Daniel, who is the only witness to the theft of two golden figures and the murder of the town clock-keeper. He pledges to restore the stolen figures to the tower and a remarkable chase ensues. Set in the city of Borgam, where the river divides the rich from the poor., where the currency is in ruins and democracy is up for grabs - that's where you'll find him - the boy with gold coursing through his veins. This taut darkly comic piece of music theatre, on the razor-sharp edge in torn between fairy tale and fable.
