George and Lennie are gangsters. George is clever and ruthless. Lennie is his willing follower. George devises a money-making plan. The wealthy and spoilt heiress, Charlotte Chamberlain, is vulnerable. A kidnap is planned. George is confident Charlotte's father will pay five million pounds to get her back.
