Kanjoos - The Miser archiveTransported from 17th century France to modern India. In the money-mad maelstrom of modern India lurks Harjinder makhi-choos (flea-sucking miser). A man obsessed with hoarding his wealth by adhering strictly to Gandhi's principles of minimum dress and food. Harjinder hates spending money with a passion, whether it be on his household or his children who themselves are desperate for marriage and obsessed with the Bolly life-style of Mumbai.
