Not with a Bang is a wry and amusing look at the nuclear disarmament issue. When their wives join the Women's Peace Movement, Nobby, Tommy and Ken, pals in the Territorial Army, treat it as a bit of a joke, calling them the 'Marta Haris of Deepdale'. But as the women become more involved - demonstrating outside American air-bases, rallying to support the women of Greenham Common - the men find themselves the laughing stock of their T.A. battalion.
