Details

A brother returns home after ten years to start a family but first needs to confront the ghosts of his past with his sister. Convinced that his leaving at such a young age signifies an inadequacy in himself he doubts his abilities to be a good dad. A happy reunion is destroyed as siblings discuss their past and a dark secret that involves their father. Repressed contains issues of abuse, exploring aftermath and acceptance rather than concentrating on the events.
