CORONAVIRUS: All UK venues closed on 16th March 2020 but restrictions were lifted on 19th July 2021 with venues free to run shows to full capacity audiences after that though there are still issues with company members being forced to self-isolate on being 'pinged'. In September it is possible that a COVID vaccination certificate (or exemption) may be mandated for entry. Please note that iUKTDb archive listings between March 2020 and July 2021 may not be accurate as we did not receive details of all rescheduled and cancelled shows.
Running up to the Festive Season we have Spooked - Chilling Stories At Christmas
, three Victorian ghost stories to set pulses racing. The stories include Jerry Bundler
by WW Jacobs, The Hand
by Maupassant and The Goblins Who Stole a Sexton
by Charles Dickens. The evening begins in an isolated country inn where we meet commercial travellers who start to tell their stories of the spirit world. One tells of meeting the highwayman Jerry Bundler who haunts the inn, another of the hand that came to life and the last of the Goblins who taught a lesson. The production provides a heart-pounding alternative to typical panto magic.Author WW Jacobs. Author Maupassant. Author Charles Dickens.
