Spooked - Chilling Stories At Christmas archiveRunning up to the Festive Season we have Spooked - Chilling Stories At Christmas, three Victorian ghost stories to set pulses racing. The stories include Jerry Bundler by WW Jacobs, The Hand by Maupassant and The Goblins Who Stole a Sexton by Charles Dickens. The evening begins in an isolated country inn where we meet commercial travellers who start to tell their stories of the spirit world. One tells of meeting the highwayman Jerry Bundler who haunts the inn, another of the hand that came to life and the last of the Goblins who taught a lesson. The production provides a heart-pounding alternative to typical panto magic.
