Still Time archiveChas is bound to be nervous on his wedding night with Gloria. After a lifetime locked away in mental institutions, to get from breakfast to teatime in your own home with nobody telling you how to do it is a daunting prospect. But he's a dab hand with a poached egg and he has a natty line in tuxedos and cummerbunds. What else does it take to play the part of husband? Tea dances with Fred and Ginger, classic cocktail recipes and countryside picnics form the backdrop for an extraordinary relationship forged out of eccentricity and compassion. Still Time was originally produced on Radio 4 and won the Mental Health Media Award in 1998.
