Tempest/Buzra archiveInspired by Shakespeare s The Tempest and rewritten by Polish actor, director and writer, Pawel Palcat, this minimalist production highlights the psychological depth and symbolic elements of the text. He says "I asked the actors to consider The Tempest as a metaphor for post war, reunified Europe. For me, this consideration is vital to a project which uses the cultures of five different EU countries to re-create a classic British play. The actors play their individual characters using their mother tongue and the diversity of languages has an impact on their interpretations."
