The Collector archiveFrederick Clegg had two passions in life; his butterfly collection and the beautiful art student Miranda Grey. When a chance Lottery win enables him to fulfil his obsession by capturing Miranda and imprisoning her in the cellar of the county house he has brought with the windfall, a tense series of psychological game ensues. Whilst Frederick waits patiently for the barriers of class and taste that inhibit their love to break down, Miranda, terrified and desperate for her freedom tempers her desire to escape with compassion and consideration in order not to push her unstable captor over the edge. A chilling psychological thriller.
