Timon archive...a corrupt government, soldiers fighting foreign wars and artists, retailers and bankers living the high life... sound familiar? In a society too busy having a good time to wonder what happens when the money runs out, the prosperous Timon is the most popular man about town. His generosity is matched only by the appetite of his many friends, the only value of anything is the price it can fetch and money, the 'universal whore', fuels the pursuit of a reckless hedonism. But when Timon's wealth is revealed to be built on a sea of debt, he loses those friends as quickly as his fortune and turns his back not only on the city, but on all humanity.
