The internationally-acclaimed Volcano Theatre Company will be in residence at Clwyd Theatre Cymru between 4-10 May. Actors from the company will be joined by Dritero Kasapi and young theatre director from Macedonia to work on Torsk a new performance piece based on the life and work of the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch. The director and the actors will be working together each day for one week and during that time will invite members of the public in to the rehearsal to see the working process. There will be an opportunity to put questions to the creative team about the approach and decisions made during this short but intensive rehearsal period. Volcano will present a 'work in progress' of the piece on the final day and there will be a question and answer session afterwards.
