'Springboard: Verse Drama' is the result of a six-month investigation into the state of verse drama in Britain, culminating in a debate on the future of the form. Plays scheduled for presentation include biting satires, poetic elegies and grim visions of the future, featuring pre-natal care, pornography, Portillo and Big Macs. Each night the programme will reveal another powerful example of this most demanding and neglected of dramatic styles.
