Off the back of the last successful edition of this slightly ridiculous quiz show, comedian Mark Allen is back to pit top stand-ups against each other again in a bid to find a modern-day Universal Genius. But what is a Universal Genius? Well, quite simply, it’s someone who excels in every single facet of human understanding. They may have once been called 'Renaissance Men', but as the Renaissance was ages ago and women are now allowed to be geniuses as well, Universal Genius seems a better description of what he’s for. 'The next show sees top comedians Tom Bell and Dan Atkinson battle it out for the coveted title. With rounds such as art, science, wit, etiquette, languages, poetry and hunting, we will sort out the wheat from the chaff and find who has what it takes to be considered a true modern-day Universal Genius.
