The Amsterdam String Quartet, one of today’s leading period instrument ensembles, is at the forefront of the early music scene, specialising in the repertoire of the golden age of the string quartet. Marking the 200 anniversary of composer Joseph Haydn’s death, the concert includes three of his string quartets and Mozart’s Haydn influenced string quartet D Minor KV 421.
