Amid the glitz of the roaring '20s, mysterious young millionaire Jay Gatsby moves into town and throws a series of luxurious parties at his waterside mansion. He arouses the suspicions of Tom Buchanan, a wealthy philanderer who lives across the bay with his beautiful but unhappy wife Daisy. But when Gatsby meets Daisy at her cousin's house one fateful afternoon, lives change forever.
