The massed voices of Aberdeen Choral Society with conductor Alistair Macdonald combine with Grampian Sinfonia to perform two works by Haydn. The first - Te Deum - is a magnificent choral drama composed for the empriess Marie Therese and first performed in 1800. This is followed by The Creation, an oratorio written by Haydn between 1796 and 1798, and considered by many to be his greatest choral masterpiece. A team of internationally acclaimed soloists complete the line up in what will undoubtedly be a thrilling evening of Haydn choral music at its very best!
