New poems, specially commissioned by the Ustinov and the Maggini Quartet, interspersed between the movements of the Quartet no 7 by current Master of the Queen’s Music, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies. Peter Maxwell Davies’s Quartet no.7 was written especially for the Gramophone Award-winning Maggini Quartet. Andrew Motion website.
