Alan Hollinghurst was one of Granta magazine's Best of Young British Novelists in 1993. Works include his acclaimed first novel The Swimming Pool Library and The Folding Star, which was shortlisted for the Booker Prize and won the James Tait Black Memorial Prize for Fiction.
