Andreya Triana archiveShe's worked with Mr Scruff and Flying Lotus, supported Erykah Badu and leant her "languid" (BBC) vocals to Bonobo's Black Sands (Drowned in Sound called her "the darling of the album". After "bubbling under the surface of the UK's down-tempo scene" (PopMatters), Triana finally stepped into the limelight in 2010 with her debut, Lost Where I Belong. She kept us waiting a further five years for its follow-up, Giants, working with producer Matt Hales (Lianne La Havas, Paloma Faith) to deliver an "emotionally engrossing" (Clash) release. "Its strengths - fine lyrics with a social conscience, a diversity of styles all executed successfully and above all, Triana's bronzed and supple dynamic vocals - repay repeated listening" (The Arts Desk).
