By turns comic and tragic, musical and dramatic, this powerful adaptation of Dickens’s classic novel, inspired by the vivid world of Victorian music-hall, is the perfect choice for the Theatre Royal’s much-acclaimed outdoor summer school, Storm on the Lawn The walls and ramparts of the 18th century Ball Court at Prior Park College will be transformed into the 19th century alleyways and garrets, teeming with rascals and harlots and all the unforgettable characters from one of teh best-loved of all stories about childhood. Sixty local young people will be directed by Amy Leach from the acclaimed En Masse Theatre and the egg’s professional team to create a stunning piece of outdoor theatre.
