Company of the leading choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh. Shobana Jeyasingh's bold new piece uses dance, film and powerful sound to create a dance work with British and Asian influences. Inspired by Gautam Malkani's book Londonstani, Faultline features live performances by classical soprano Patricia Rozario and sonic artist Scanner, as well as atmospheric film footage commissioned from conceptual film artist Pete Gnomes and Jeyasingh's rich, hybrid movement. Exit No Exit is a charged representation of the anticipation of entrances and the impossibility of easy exits, set to music by Michael Nyman performed on live bass clarinet.
