Tavaziva Dance explodes onto the scene with a spirited new programme delivered straight from the soul. A dynamic new company line-up presents four pieces, three of which are world premieres, all drawing on the spirit of Africa and the experiences of urban life. Tribe - a duet themed around familiarity in culture and relationship. Worlds Apart (a co-commission by Royal Opera House 2) - explores issues of frustration and respect across generations. Zviri Mumoyo - a solo from the soul. Umdlalo Kasisi - inspired by the death of a loved one, this work was commissioned by The Place Prize 2004.
