With Christmas fast approaching, Canvas Theatre brings a different slant to the traditional pantomime tale of Red Riding Hood, where Red is a duck and the Wolf is an alligator named Claude! Petite Rouge is ostensibly for children, but like all good Children’s Theatre, it is equally entertaining for adults. Set in swampy Louisiana and Mardi Gras in New Orleans, this childhood fable has colourful theatrics, masks and jazzy, foot-tapping hillbilly tunes - plus some humour for the grown-ups!
