A stunning and vibrant collection of ten traditional dances from across the African continent, reveals an emotive and spiritual journey by Adzido. Sankofa Sankofa, a story of a phoenix like bird from the Ashanti nation of west Africa which retraces its flight path to retrieve any and all feathers it has shed before continuing its journey. Ten vibrant dances from across the African continent embrace drums, kora, flute, bells and xylophone to acknowledge the important things of the past millennium, and to give testimony to the diversity of Africa.
