On 3rd September 1786, in the dead of night, eminent German poet and playwright Johann Wolfgang von Goethe left his home in Weimar and headed south to Rome. Two years later, he returned a transformed man, deeply affected by the landscapes he saw, the painters he studied, and most importantly, the people he met. Join 'Unfug Theatre Company' for an evening celebrating Germany's greatest poet, and the episode that changed the course of his life. See the man, hear his poetry, and witness the women he loved, loathed and left behind.
