An unforgettable evening of splendour and nostalgia that will make you proud to be British and have you singing in the stalls. The Mayor of Peterborough, Councillor June Stokes, will host the annual 'Last Night of the Proms' on Sunday 27th April 2014. The event will raise money for her chosen charities: "Inspire Peterborough", Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, Wednesday PHAB Club and Parents United. The usual favourites from the Last Night of the Proms, along with a selection of well-known pieces will be performed by local musicians. A prize raffle will also be held during the evening. So come along, wave your Union Jacks, raise your bowler hats in a fun filled evening full of popular classics and favourite tunes.
