With their latest creation, K.A., company URBA and murmur propose the theme of the subconscious. They work with images that arrive either in dreams or through sensations and emotions of day to day life. These images and movements have no prescribed explanation - their significance lies within the subconscious. The collage of image, sound and movement follow a non-narrative progression of tension and sensation; their repetition becomes hypnotic; the audience enters the ritual. A visceral experience where you are invited to form your own interpretation. URBA is an international company producing several interdisciplinary shows (dance, physical theatre, digital video, electronic music, phonography). Working with found sounds and field recordings, murmur's sound work recalls our theme through the use of the subconscious sounds of our world.
