Stan West is eleven, quiet and ordinary. He's never done anything exciting in his life, and neither have his parents. At school his teachers are worried; he lacks confidence, is shy, and the school bully, George, makes his life hell. Even the girl in his life, Ginger Jones, thinks he is dull, Stan is a born looser! But when he finds an old hammer in his Grandad's cabbage patch strange things begin to happen. The Men from the Ministry appear, the New York Mafia, and a two headed policeman!
