Dancing to a mixture of musical styles they provide enormously watchable evenings. Programme 2 includes two new works. Richard Alston, former artistic director of Rambert creates a work to celebrate the 75th anniversary while Wayne McGregor, one of Britain's most respected and admired young choreographers has been commissioned by Rambert Dance Company for the first time. The evening also includes Siobhan Davies' Sounding performed by six dancers and inspired by the haunting ritual incantation, Okanagon, which is said to reflect 'the heartbeat of the earth'.
