A santoor (indian stringed musical instrument) performance from one of the great visionaries of Hindustani classical music. Winner of numerous awards, Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma has captured the hearts of millions. His concerts are outstanding and memorable, leaving the listeners immersed in a meditative state. He is accompanied by the distinguished tabla player, Sanju Sahai from the Benares tradition. The evening is preceded with a concert by outstanding Leicester-based vocalist, Tofil Ahmed. He is accompanied on tabla by Satyajit Talwalkar-an emerging master of this versatile instrument.
