Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment - The Night Shift archiveThe OAE is much more than one of the world's pre-eminent period instrument ensembles. It works regularly with conductors who specialise in both early music and the modern repertoire, and has explored the work of composers from Bach to Mahler, Handel to Borodin. The Night Shift, London's unique classical night, returns to its Southbank Centre home for another evening of live music in a relaxed and laid-back setting. This concert is presented from the stage and features music from classical super-star Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, including his Horn Concerto No.4, a real show-off piece for the soloist! Drinks are welcome in the hall, you can clap when you want and you can come and go as you wish. Plus there's live music pre-show in the bar from 9pm and a DJ set afterwards until midnight.
