Andy Sheppard - and Kuljit Bhamra archiveJazz saxophonist The rich talents of Andy Sheppard, one of Britain’s most important jazz saxophonist, and Kuljit Bhamra’s skills in classical tabla and bhangra will be merged to create a soundscape inspired by, and featuring, sounds from the five rivers of Kuljit’s Punjab and Andy’s Wiltshire. The Punjab is the origin of Kuljit’s family and literally means ‘five rivers’, resonating beautifully with Wiltshire’s five river landscape. The evening brings these two evocative sound worlds together. Andy Sheppard - and Kuljit Bhamra website.
