Details

Bizarre and spellbinding. The Magic Flute features two love stories, a serpent, a Queen, a High Priest and a comedian, whose intrigues unfold to the beauty of Mozart's most popular opera score and Schikaneder's witty dialogue New Production. The production will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Sung in German with English surtitles. Running time 3 hours. July 1st - BP Opera in the Piazza Live relay from the Royal Opera House.
