Romeo and Juliet archiveThe story of frustrated young (illegally young in modern terms) love and death and the vendetta between two families in a tight-knit Italian community. One of Shakespeare's most popular and enduring dramas it has also been re-done as film, ballet, musical (most notably "West Side Story") and ice spectacular! This is Shakespeare’s most famous play with a modern setting to reflect our times. A fast-moving, physical production from one of the most talented school companies in the country. Winners of the Fringe Report Award for Best Play for their world premiere adaptation of Hotel World, the company now bring Romeo and Juliet to Riverside following a sell-out run at Greenwich Theatre. Running time: two and a half hours, inclluding one twenty-minute interval.
