The founder of Del Amitri, Justin Currie's music is dominated by strong imagery and storytelling, powerful yet understated vocals and a sound that, whilst rooted in nineties pop-rock, translates beautifully modern urban ballads. With influences from Nick Cave, Crowded House and Mark Lanegan, his music is hauntingly dark, yet refreshingly uplifting. New ep released in March on Rykodisc.
