Essex-born Lili La Scala is a firmly established cabaret gem. Her first onstage performance was at the tender age of 18 months, dressed in a sparkly silver all-in-one - a trend that has long continued. She took to it like a 1940s starlet to bright red lipstick. She studied opera at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, moved on to street performance and burlesque, before wowing people from London to New Zealand with her captivating cabaret. Siren, which has most recently playing to thunderous applause and excellent reviews in Adelaide, blends Lili's classical roots with dark eclectic songs in a theatrical voyage through salt-sprayed music in the key of sea.
