Henry V leads the English to victory at Agincourt and afterwards is taught the words of love by the French Princess, Katherine. A vivid depiction of the horrors of war and a romantic, fast-moving story. Set in modern surroundings, this timeless Shakespeare classic is cleverly brought up to date and explores the conflict between tradition and modernity in Britain through the lens of a nation at war. A clash of traditional and modern, the performance optimises atmospheric neon scenography to place the audience in the current moment whilst maintaining the beauty of Shakespeare's language.
