T0492844551 Al Murray is the pub landlord who holds forth on all manner of topics, waxing wide about the state of the world with all the skewed logic of a bar room philosopher. Anyone who has spent even the smallest amount of time in a pub will recognise these immaculate observations of British pub culture.
Its Autumn so the Pub Landlord has handed over to the relief manager again. Representing decent honest hard working normal tax paying law abiding ordinary people who don't want to pay their speeding fines, the Guv'nor will be bringing his heady brew of British Thinking and Common Sense Reasoning. This year's topic could well include: The Silent Majority, What is Love, What Can We Learn From History? and Why It's Time to Bring Back Shame. France may feature as may Treachery, Backsliding and Letting Us Down. Also featuring - if you're good - back by popular demand a round of Fact Hunt. This show contains strong language.
