Is there such a thing as absolute truth and can we know what it is? Can something be true but still a lie, as in the film True Lies? If someone says something in French, can that be true? These are questions which the Manic Street Preachers probably never considered when issuing the invitation This Is My Truth, Mell Me Yours, but they will be sorry now that their rash challenge has been taken up by two of Cambridge's sharpest yet most short-sighted stand-ups.
