Three artists have created new works based on materials discovered in the sound archive at The School of Scottish Studies, University of Edinburgh. See musician Alasdair Roberts and puppeteer Shane Connolly's eerie reworking of the mummers' play Galoshins. Sound artist Aileen Campbell presents a video work based on her research into canntaireachd, mouth music and waulking song, while experimental vocalist and raconteur Wounded Knee invites us to follow his own Archive Trail to the darker corners of the catalogue.
