Details

Easter Monday 2013 brings Sir John Eliot Gardiner's most ambitious Bach project - the Bach Marathon, twelve inspiring and elevating hours of back-to-back music celebrating J.S Bach. The line-up for the day also includes the Britten Sinfonia, Cameron Carpenter, musicians from the Royal Academy of Music with conductor Iain Ledingham, the Woven Gold Community Choir led by Howard Moody - and the Royal Albert Hall audience, who will be invited to participate in the Easter cantata Christ lag in Todesbanden.
